The Batey Boricua is a bombazo, or a jam session, organized by the Bay Area Bomba y Plena Workshop. It is an exciting event in which musicians, practitioners, and students of Bomba, Plena, and other styles of music, get together and create energy and community. It is a family-friendly event and every time is different from the last one.
